Nathan is the founder and the chief designer of NOTHING STUDIO. As one of the leading figures in French-style artistic design, his career spans over 20 years in pursuing modern French aesthetics in interior design.

Nathan accumulates a large amount of  knowledge about the interior design from his role as the design director at a renowned French design agency. He has formed a comprehensive philosophy on interior aesthetics and developed unique views on modern French-style interior design.

Nathan founded NOTHING STUDIO in Shanghai in 2011. The business includes premium private residences, commercial spaces, high-end hotels, and much more. The studio runs based on its concrete realisation on modern French-style interior aesthetics and the Chinese way of living.

The studio provides the comprehensive and high-end service for building renovations, landscape designs, interior design and furnishings, as well as the art collecting advisory; it has been featured in magazines such as INTERNI, AD, ELLE DECORATION, Interior Design, Rayli Home, TRENDS HOME and Designer & Designing.

By viewing from the perspective of Nathan, the French-style design is not just the labelled visual symbol or the superficial repetition which imitates the existing design styles. It directs to an entry point which helps understanding the design and the life. His understanding is mirrored  by his years of practice about constructing people's way of living in numerous private projects.

Nathan is a designer who has the strong belief about the design and one's daily lives; he believe in that the beauty of design comes from an authentic and purposeful attitude of living, and it is his job to fulfill the expectation of living a better life for residents. To complete the design case meant to substantialize the ideal image according to the expectation of the customers. Nathan also believes that he is suppose to act like a yogi who studies the ideologies and philosophy about the daily lives based on the French artistic design.
