Design orientation

Macau City of Dreams [Deng Ji], coordinates Macao's comprehensive entertainment resort bustling area, by Guangzhou Yingcai decoration design as space planning, soft decoration design construction landing, and other services. The entire restaurant is nearly 800 square meters, designed by Deng Huadong, the Chinese culinary master/the inheritor of Nantang Sichuan cuisine. The design integrates contemporary aesthetic and artistic refinement experience, colliding contemporary Sichuan style creativity with Chinese style, and realizing the dining experience of "new, fashionable, refined and quality" with a unique taste system.

Design thinking

Sichuan cuisine, as one of the four traditional Chinese cuisines and one of the eight traditional Chinese cuisines, has a history dating back to more than 2,000 years ago. Sichuan has been known as the "Land of abundance" since ancient times. Surrounded by mountains, it has a suitable climate and abundant water sources, which have nurtured the richness of Sichuan's products and contributed to the prosperity of Sichuan's food culture.

As a brand of Sichuan cuisine, Dengji's essence lies in integrating the genes and expression of the city. The art of cooking lies in controlling the change of cooking techniques and tastes. Food is a medium of dialogue between life and art. The space is both popular and classic in the same row, using modern techniques and materials to re-integrate Chinese classical elements, combined with the artistic conception of traditional Chinese gardens, to form a new concept and new vision of Sichuan bamboo culture. The collision of primitive elements and contemporary space achieves a high degree of integration of paying tribute to tradition and commercial localism.

Space with a large area of rustic paint, logs, and raw stone is embellished, to create a "stream shadow see pine bamboo, tan smell gitoxin" artistic conception, through the artistic conception of the way to achieve "hidden", enclosed space layout, people have the desire to explore, booth, scattered table, half package, private room, and other different dining space, guide people in the space to form a step by step experience, gradually slow down the mood, Psychological distance from the noisy outdoor.

Entering the garden, the original texture screen is designed to retain the mystery of the internal space, the bamboo garden is leisurely, the pine and bamboo contain new autumn, and the porch window is more than clear. Let people not stop exploring, and increase the interaction and play between space and people.

The dining area on the left side is adapted to the quiet dining experience, and the east-west axis is symmetrical with the atrium to form a separation of "moving" and "quiet", to achieve harmonious beauty and better ensure the sense of dining ceremony and comfort.

On the right side of the entrance, the garden landscape, the comfortable scenery of the small bridge, and the flowing water family are separated from the outside, with both the privacy of the dining and the sense of ceremony, and the ornamental landscape construction, realizing the interesting collision between tradition and contemporary.

A large area of wood veneer in different forms a very zen space experience, to create surroundings at the same time, achieve a certain sound effect, can interact with the external space of the dining experience, the wall screen adopts the Chinese courtyard artistic conception, raise a glass to invite the moon, the moonlight by the Qing shadow, Chinese cuisine ritual sense, is poetic romance, as Lin Yutang said: "It is a belief in poetic harmony with nature, which allows life to fluctuate with the fluctuations of human emotions."

To experience a better sense of dining ceremony for visitors, the setting of boxes and booths are scattered around the space around the viewing area, which can better provide services for the dining area, plan different seating areas, two people, four people, six people to meet the dining needs of different people, and create a quiet mood of "water into, water and food".

Taking into account the dining needs of different groups of people in the lighting, given the elegance of different scene modes, through flexible light belts, create a quiet courtyard scene, so that different landscapes inside and outside the garden are connected and used as a foil, forming an organic and mutual artistic whole, highlighting the modern Chinese fashion style.

With a landscape as companions, with the breeze, pine, and bamboo with new autumn, more than clear windows, set off each other, the display area displays all kinds of pottery tea sets and fresh and simple soft decoration colors, three or five friends enjoy tea, don't have some mood. Exquisite and without losing some leisure, Outlines the elegant humanistic temperament of the contemporary lifestyle.

Real dining is the temperature of return to life, life is a lucky thing, is not when we can put down the time, and savor the pleasure of a meal, the design of the courtyard locks the autumn fireworks so that diners appreciate the elegance of walking in the leisure court, the natural culture permeates the space, forming a free and open form of expression, inspiring visitors to rediscover and explore with different artistic senses.
