He graduated MSc in 1997 in Architecure with a project of Industrial Design published as excellent thesis at the Politecnico di Torino.
Specializing Master Degree in Strategic Design at Politecnico di Milano.
PhD in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano.
He was lecturer at the Politecnico di Torino from 2003.
Since 2005 he develops his research and didactic activities at the Department of Design at Politecnico di Milano. He is Professor in Design.
Field of research is focused on innovation processes and new product development through complex organizations. Engineering the value of products in a phygital world considering material and perceptive aspects.

Global Design Industry Organization was launched by design organizations, institutions, universities, and enterprises from over 40 countries during the 2019 World Industrial Design Conference in Yantai, China. During the Conference, global design innovators reached a consensus and jointly issued the “Design Industry Declaration”, which proposed the establishment of the Global Design Industry Organization to promote design industry as a powerful engine for economic and social development.

Dean of the participation of POLI.design -Politecnico di Milano to Joint School of Design and Innovation Centre c/o Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU).
The cooperation is fully developed in disciplines of liberal arts, science and engineering fields, concerning subjects such as telecommunication, mechanics, management, nuclear science, industrial design, aerospace, humanity, art, relic protection and architecture. In March, 2019, the cooperative educational program of Architecture was approved by Ministry of Education. In 2016, the two universities signed an agreement to build Joint School of Design together, and a building of the school designed by architecture design masters of POLIMI was constructed in Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbor. In Sept., 2019, XJTU-POLIMI Joint School of Design and Innovation Center settled in Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbor.
Since 2009 he was General Director of POLI.design the Consortium of Politecnico di Milano for action research and post graduate teaching.
Since 2020 he is CEO of POLI.design.
